Mr. Joseph F. Porcarelli, Sr.

I love what someone else wrote that Mr. P had a hot date with his favorite valentine...i remember growing up always thinking of Mr & Mrs. P as the sweetest couple so how fitting that he would join her on Valentine's Day. I know he will be missed. My condolences to the entire family. Prayers for peace in your hearts.

Dear Porcarelli Gang....with heavy hearts but for sure filled with warm memories we send our love and prayers. We have been lucky to have known both your parents and have fond memories from many years ago that bring smiles to our faces. Mr. Porcarelli, I have just so many fond memories regarding you and the entire family. I fondly remember you driving around the yard on the Honda 50 with such a big smile. I remember all the Saturdays before bowling when you would watch me eat about 6 or 7 eggs and while laughing asking Mrs. Porcarelli, "where does he put it all?" I remember how much fun you had when John, Joe, and I would put on the smoke bomb, bottle rocket shows in our rear yard. I remember you driving us to the Honda Motorcycle dealer and we would all admire the motorcycles. I remember talking baseball with you, the Tigers, etc. Later years, we would go watch boxing together with everyone. I always enjoyed having you out at our place for those events. Later as the years passed, I would enjoy our chats and how very proud you were of your boys, all successful in their fields. I remember you joking and said that your grandson was putting you in the poor house because you were paying him a dollar for every goal he scored. I enjoyed looking at the drawings and pictures in your place regarding your kids and their kids, how you enjoyed talking about them. I will truly miss you as a neighbor and as a friend. I have so many good memories growing up and you played such an important part in them. -Tony

During the past 20 years, we have enjoyed many dinner celebrations with Mr. P, but he always went home before the festivities were over. We would tease him and say "We know why you're going home, you must have a hot date."
He would just chuckle. Well, on Valentine's Day, he went home because he definitely did have a hot date. This time it was with his all-time valentine, his wife Celeste. Mr. P, we will miss the many family dinners together.

Aww... Mr. P. You are going to be sorely missed. It always was a special time when you came in to the bank. I always enjoyed our conversations and you always knew how to make me laugh. Cookie day won't be the same without you and payphones are free in heaven. :) My thoughts, prayers and condolences to Porcarelli family. The world has lost a great man.

The Carl A. Taylor family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times.
